Bobby is genuinely a one of a kind individual who is truly passionate about helping clients who are often seen as outsiders in society and often struggle with judgements due to stigmatizing stereotypes. Bobby's experience in the mental health field allows him to understand how to treat clients as his peers which creates an atmosphere that shows them that it's okay to celebrate what makes them different instead of feeling like they don't fit in anywhere. Bobby is committed to helping others and doing what's best for the individual to help them succeed.
Through working with Bobby in the Substance Use Recovery field, I've seen him work with a variety of client groups that include adults that have mental health disorders and other developmental disabilities that often require extra support in activities of daily living. Because of Bobby's passion for creating an environment that is non-judgmental, he is easily able to make clients that may be used to a society that pushes stigmatizing stereotypes onto them feel safe in expressing and speaking about their differences.
Because of Bobby's non-judgmental views, he is often a person that people go to when they're needing help or support on something that they may not be comfortable talking about in fear of social stigmas. This is one of the most important attributes I believe Bobby has because he's able to be a trusted person for so many and helps open the first door to treatment or requests for help that many individuals may not have wanted to do out of fear, or resources that they didn't know were options. Ultimately this helps so many people become successful in many different areas that they may have previously seen as hopeless or impossible to reach.
